LazadaPay Merchant Center is a platform for seller and buyer who want to boost sales opportunities by reaching millions of Lazada users who actively use LazadaPay as their payment and purchase Deals Nearby. As a Product designer for this project I design merchant center platform for Lazada users.

Lazada Merchant Center Homepage
Based on user research, it show that Thai users are unfamiliar with LazadaPay as a payment platform. To address this, I've developed a merchant center homepage to deliver platform benefits to users

Target group
Before we started designing, we deep dive into existing behavioral of our users to understand them better. We also conduct user interview to identify what user needs.
We defined 2 user archetypes, and mapped them to their respective segmentation.

The goal is to explain the main advantages of Lazada, how to use its services, and how to sign up in a straightforward way. We'll also give users easy-to-follow instructions and clear explanations on using these services, including helpful illustrations.

After userâs submit all required information we show status and how long it takes to review. Also userâs can now see data dashboard for their outlet transation, payment & deals near by transaction.

QR code generated system (POSM)
One of the main features of MC platform is POSM thatâs allow user to generate QR code in different types and provide delivery service to install on their business branch.

- Option for users who wrongly fill business registeration to go to personal registration

đ What I Learn
Lack of communication cause problem
During this project as I recently join for 1 month and still onboarding to Lazada culture we still donât communicate well with business team but after we get onboarded I collaborate more with business team by suggesting more customer insight ex whatâs userâs feedback from research team , listed down piorities to optimize flows.
No âWe assume that ...â
One of the key takeaway from this project, if we do more research to know about customer behavior and needs first we wonât end up get feedback such as âuserâs need option to skip fill formâ, user prefer real image rather than unlively graphicâ, option for user to used or preview platform before registered.
One slip-up is enough to learn and never repeat again.
After I realized that I can deliver higher quality works by doing 1,2,3 so I decide to take action on the next project which is LazadaPay Wallet Homepage and so on.
